Totonesu

to-tonesu — knowledge of Tonesu in use. This section is the language working: constructions under pressure, conversations with consequences, and the places where the design breaks.

Everything here is drawn from the corpus or built as a deliberate probe. The goal isn't to show that Tonesu is elegant — it's to show whether it works.

Building

  • Worked examples — concepts traced from idea to compound, plus sentence walkthroughs with full parse breakdowns
  • Production pathways — how a speaker moves from raw perception to finished utterance, step by step through the epistemic pipeline

In practice

  • Conversations — multi-turn exchanges analyzed for pragmatic strategy: how speakers question, confirm, escalate, accuse, and repair
  • Contrast walkthroughs — minimal pairs and near-miss constructions that show exactly why similar roots are not interchangeable
  • Register & colloquial forms — same grammar, different choices: formal proceedings vs casual speech, full compounds vs CVC contractions

Under pressure

  • Failures & edge cases — documented gaps, ambiguities, and design tradeoffs: where the language knows it has problems
  • Stress tests — translation analyses across theology, philosophy, literature, and science: where Tonesu helps, strains, or forces choices the source text left open

Exploratory

  • Sandbox — unregistered compounds, structural experiments, provisional forms: the workshop floor

Reference

  • Corpus — the full sentence corpus (575+ sentences), organized by theme and batch
  • Building words — the rules behind compound construction
