S132 la-ze ka-ne-de lo-ne-mi; la-mi fa-be se vo-de lo-ne-mi They intentionally ended my relationship. Affect is rising in me; I perceive value-decay when I look at it.

Notes

  • First attestation of ka-ne-de (W092): volitional reading; ka (intentional action) + ne-de (relation-decay). The ka distinguishes this from bare ne-mi de (S133), where dissolution happens without an assigned will.
  • fa-be (affect-rises) in emotional context: first corpus use in a relational-loss frame. No named emotion. Raw substrate signal.
  • se vo-de lo-ne-mi — the se-register form: outward-facing detection needs an object (lo-ne-mi). Speaker detects quality-decay in the relationship as external object. This is the se column of Domain 7: detection directed at the relation.
  • Clause structure: the first half names the agent and their act; the second half names no reason — both clauses are grammatically complete. Formal register licenses both.

S133 ne-mi de; fa-be My relationship ended. [I feel the affect rising.]

Notes

  • First direct attestation of ne-de (W091) via ne-mi de: ne (relation root) + mi (speaker reference) as head NP; de (decay) as predicate. No agent named. The dissolving is not attributed to any will — it simply occurred.
  • Contrast pair with S132: S132 names the agent (la-ze ka-ne-de); S133 omits agent and strips ka (intentionality). Same external event; different what-is-predicated.
  • fa-be stands alone as an utterance complete without object or lo- patient. This is the fa substrate column: affect active without an external target to se onto.
  • Most directly demonstrates P9 corollary: unresolved affect is not a failed diagnostic. fa-be with no object is grammatically and pragmatically complete.

S134 ne-mi de. la-mi fa-no-to lo-go. My relationship ended. My affect has not resolved into a model of the cause.

Notes

  • First corpus use of fa-no-to (fa-based unresolved affect). Parallels W090 se-no-to but uses the affective substrate root: substrate-affect-without-model. Where se-no-to describes perceptual signal without resolution, fa-no-to describes the same stall at the substrate level itself.
  • lo-go = patient: cause/origin. The construction fa-no-to lo-go is precise: "affect has not resolved into knowledge of [the cause]." Most accurate Tonesu form for "I got dumped and I don't understand why." Speaker names the absence of model and specifies exactly where the gap lies: at causal explanation.
  • Three-sentence progression (S132 → S133 → S134): formal indictment → compressed felt-experience → observer-mode registration of confusion as state.
  • la-mi in S134 is the observer's anchor. Speaker is modeling their own substrate: "I-as-observer: affect-no-model." Not confusion stated from inside confusion — the registering of confusion as a named state. Analogous to Domain 7 observer mode: la-mi to [la-zo-mi se lo-X].
