GOD-RES-001 / GOD-002 theological reading · GOD-002 Theological Reading

S357 la-zo-si-Elohim lo-ma-ki ki-re The spirit of God hovered over the waters.

Notes

  • zo-si-Elohim = the disembodied-living-agent of Elohim. zo-si (W069) = "living-signal; an agent whose existence is signal without physical substrate." Compounded with Elohim via genitive-by-compounding — same mechanism as ra-ki-Elohim in the existing genesis-1.md verse 2 draft.
  • zo-si vs ra-ki: ra-ki = physical force-in-motion = wind/breath (physical ruach reading). zo-si = disembodied living agent = Spirit (theological ruach reading). Both are structurally valid and in complementary distribution depending on whether the referent is physical energy or a non-corporeal agent.
  • ki-re = sustained recurring motion = hovering. Same predicate as the physical-reading draft. Surface sentences are identical except zo-si replaces ra-ki — a minimal pair.
  • GOD-002 PARTIAL RESOLUTION: The theological reading of ruach is expressible in Tonesu via zo-si. Tonesu cannot preserve the deliberate Hebrew polyvalence, but both readings translate cleanly. Translation policy: zo-si for theological/spiritual register (Spirit as distinct divine agent); ra-ki for naturalistic/physical register (wind or breath). Mark with ~ if the productive ambiguity is itself the point.

GOD-RES-002 / GOD-002 physical contrast · GOD-002 Physical Contrast

S358 la-ra-ki lo-ma-ki ki-re The wind moved over the waters.

Notes

  • Minimal pair with S357. Identical grammar; only the subject changes. Confirms the two ruach readings are lexically (not structurally) distinct in Tonesu: ra-ki = energy-in-motion (no inherent agency); zo-si = disembodied agent (inherently agentive). No grammatical ambiguity — the semantic split is clean.
  • ki-re is domain-neutral: it applies equally to physical phenomena and to agentive entities. The burden of disambiguation falls entirely on the subject choice, not on the predicate.

GOD-RES-003 / GOD-007 nefesh candidate · GOD-007 Nefesh Candidate

S359 lo-zo lo-zo-ra be Every organism has life-energy within it.

Notes

  • zo-ra = zo (living thing) + ra (force/energy) = the force that makes an organism alive. Unregistered; proposed here. Distinguished from existing forms:
  • zo-to (W068) — soul/identity-pattern: the organizing conceptual structure of a person
  • zo-si (W069) — spirit/disembodied-agent: a non-corporeal living entity
  • zo-ra (new) — life-energy: the animating vitality inherent in a living organism while alive
  • Hebrew nefesh hayah: Genesis 2:7 — "God breathed into Adam's nostrils and he became a living nefesh." The nefesh is the animating vital force within the organism — not its organizing identity (zo-to) and not a separate spirit-entity (zo-si). zo-ra fills this slot: the living-force present while an organism lives and absent at death.
  • lo-zo lo-zo-ra be = for every organism: life-energy exists/is-present. The be predicate (existence/generation) confirms the life-energy is real and present.
  • Verdict: ✅ zo-ra composes cleanly. Flag for registration.

GOD-RES-004 / GOD-007 three-way contrast · GOD-007 Three-Way Contrast

S360 la-zo-si de-past , la-zo-to no-de-past The spirit departed; the soul remained.

Notes

  • la-zo-si de-past — the disembodied spirit moved/departed. zo-si can be an agent that moves; it is an entity (is zo-si), not something one has — consistent with W069.
  • la-zo-to no-de-past — the identity-organizing pattern did not depart. zo-to inheres in a person as their structural identity; it doesn't move in the way an entity does (no-de = did not diminish/depart).
  • Three-way vocabulary confirmed:
Compound Reading Movement? Seat
zo-ra life-energy (nefesh) ceases at death within the organism
zo-to soul/identity-pattern inheres; does not move organizing structure of the person
zo-si spirit/disembodied-agent can move, act, depart separate entity
  • Summary: "A person has zo-ra and zo-to; a ghost is zo-si." When an organism dies, zo-ra ceases. Whether zo-to persists is a theological question Tonesu leaves open. zo-si exists independently of any particular body.

GOD-RES-005 / GOD-003 evaluation formula · GOD-003 Evaluation Formula

S361 la-Elohim lo-lu se , lo-lu vo Elohim perceived the light; the light was good.

Notes

  • se without ka = non-deliberate perceptual awareness. The subject is aware; no deliberate act of examination is implied. Contrast: ka-se = deliberate scrutiny (intentional action + perception).
  • GOD-003 REFINEMENT: For divine omniscient evaluation, bare se is less anthropomorphic than ka-se. An omniscient being does not need to deliberately examine — awareness is immediate and total. ka-se (deliberate examination as a moment of intentional effort) is more appropriate for finite perceivers.
  • The evaluative formula la-X lo-Y se , lo-Y vo cleanly separates the perceptual event from the value claim. Note also that lo-lu vo (bare property attribution with no perceiver) is grammatically valid on its own — the evaluation formula does not require a perceiver at all.
  • Recommended update for Genesis 1 draft: Replace ka-se-past with se-past throughout the eight evaluation clauses (1:4, 1:10, 1:12, 1:18, 1:21, 1:25, 1:28, 1:31). Low-cost refinement; reduces anthropomorphism while preserving the "God saw" clause of the Hebrew.

GOD-RES-006 / GOD-006 pa-pa-fe mitigation · GOD-006 Pa-Pa-Fe Mitigation

S362 la-Elohim lo-lu-mu ka lu-pa-fe God placed the light-bodies at the vault.

Notes

  • The genesis-1.md draft verse 17 had la-Elohim lo-lu-mu pa-pa-fe ka-past — the locative particle pa- + root pa + compound element fe = three pa tokens in sequence. Transparent per the particle–root overlap policy but phonologically dense.
  • lu-pa-fe uses the lu- prefix (result/beneficiary/destination) to mark the vault as the action's target location. lu- can mark destination when the verb is a placement or directed action — the vault is where the result lands. This gives only one pa in the entire compound (lu-pa-fe = lu- + pa + fe).
  • Alternative: topic-front the vault — lo-pa-fe la-Elohim lo-lu-mu ka-past. Also avoids the triple-pa; emphasizes the vault as the scene-setting location.
  • GOD-006 RESOLUTION: ✅. Both lu-pa-fe (destination frame) and topic-fronting are clean mitigations. lu-pa-fe preserves standard word order; recommend it for the Genesis 1:17 update.

GOD-RES-007 / Sermon on the Mount preview: Matthew 5:3 · Sermon on the Mount Preview — Matthew 5:3

S363 lo-zo-li zo-to-no-ra , vo ne Those who are poor in spirit — they are blessed.

Notes

  • zo-to-no-ra = right-branching parse: zo modifies [to-no-ra] = living [pattern-without-force] = a being whose organizing pattern lacks force. Compositionally: persons whose inner identity-organizing principle (zo-to) is in a state of depletion or humility (no-ra = without force/capacity).
  • "Poor in spirit" (ptochoi tō pneumati, Matthew 5:3) = those who recognize their spiritual poverty before God; the spiritually humble. zo-to-no-ra captures the key semantic content: the inner organizing pattern without self-sufficient force.
  • ⚠️ Note: the Greek pneumati (spirit) is closer formally to zo-si, but "poor in zo-si" = lacking a disembodied spirit-entity = doesn't make sense. zo-to (soul/inner disposition) is the right mapping for pneuma in its "inner spiritual orientation" sense. The Beatitude's pneuma is not the divine Spirit (zo-si) but the person's own spiritual-dispositional pattern — which is zo-to.
  • Beatitude formula: lo-[type] [property-predicate] , vo ne
  • lo-[type] = topic-marker on the person category
  • property predicates characterize the type (stacked before the comma)
  • vo ne = copula + goodness = they are in a state of blessedness
  • ka-vo (deliberate bestowal of goodness by an agent) is NOT used here — the Beatitude is a proclamation of existing state, not an agent performing a blessing act
  • Formula confirmed. Deploys identically for all nine Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3–11.
