LSP-001 · Last Supper / Eucharist Institution

Purpose: The Last Supper (Luke 22:7–20 + Matthew 26:26–28) tests the institution formula, covenant language, remembrance, thanksgiving, body/blood compounds, and the Passover festival context. New vocabulary: W161–W168. Full vocabulary framework and structural gap analysis in corpus/translations/Bible/last-supper.md.

New compounds in this batch: ka-du-zo-su (W161 bread) · de-ki'ma (W162 wine) · zo-ma (W163 body) · zo-ki'ma (W164 blood) · ne-to-fe (W165 covenant) · to-ko-re (W166 remembrance) · ka-pa-ki'ti-re (W167 Passover) · ka-vo-si (W168 thanksgiving).

S418 ti-mi ne ka-pa-ki'ti-re The Passover time has arrived.

Notes

ti-mi (W109, deictic-now) copula ne Passover-festival (W167). The liturgical time-frame opener; deictic-now + copula + festival compound. First attestation of W167 (ka-pa-ki'ti-re).

S419 la-na-Jesus ka-si-ki lo-na-Peter ro-na-John Jesus dispatched Peter and John.

Notes

ka-si-ki = deliberately dispatch (W023 si-ki = transmit + ka- deliberate prefix). Peter = primary patient (lo-); John = accompanying agent (ro-). Jesus sends them as messengers: signal-motion.

S420 [na-Jesus:] "ki / ka-su lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re lu-yu" (Jesus:) "Go and prepare the Passover for us all."

Notes

Two-clause imperative: ki (go/move) then ka-su (deliberately structure/arrange = prepare). lu-yu = beneficiary-us-all (yu = group pronoun). Patient: lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re = the Passover [preparations].

S421 [na-Peter ro-na-John:] "pa-wi to-si ka-su lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re?" (Peter and John:) "Where shall we prepare the Passover?"

Notes

WH-location query construction: pa-wi (W088, destination/location-slot) + to-si (W026, query-predicate) = "the location — a question — regarding preparing the Passover." Pattern: pa-wi to-si {action} encodes "where shall [we] {action}?" The ? marks interrogative force.

S422 la-na-Peter ro-na-John se lo-ze / la-yu ka-su lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re They found the place and prepared the Passover.

Notes

se lo-ze = perceived/found it. la-yu ka-su lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re = they (as group) prepared the Passover. yu as group-agent.

S423 ti ki ze / la-na-Jesus ne ro-pu-si-ki-li-ze ko-pa'be When the hour came, Jesus was with the apostles in the upper room.

Notes

ti ki ze = when-the-time-moved = when the hour came. pu-si-ki-li-ze = their plural messengers = the apostles (pu- plural + W158 + -ze possessive). ko-pa'be = elevated room = upper room: [ko-pa] (W048) + 'be (upward subunit). Juncture binds the room-compound before adding the elevation modifier.

S424 [na-Jesus:] "fa-wi-mi nu-vo ka-zo-ra-ma lo-ka-pa-ki'ti-re ro-yu ti-fe fa-de-ra-mi" "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer."

Notes

fa-wi-mi = my affect-will = my longing. nu-vo = greatly (quantity-value = degree intensifier). ka-zo-ra-ma = deliberately eat/consume. ti-fe (W037) = before the temporal boundary. fa-de-ra-mi = my suffering (W155 + -mi). "Before I suffer" = ti-fe fa-de-ra-mi = before-the-boundary of my suffering.

S425 [na-Jesus:] "la-mi si lo-tu / la-mi no ka-zo-ra-ma lo-ze ti be-du pa-be'ka-li-su" "I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God."

Notes

la-mi si lo-tu = I signal to you = solemn assertion opener. no ka-zo-ra-ma = will-not-eat. be-du = growth-to-result = fulfillment/completion (be = grow, du = result = what growing produces). ti be-du pa-be'ka-li-su = at-the-time-of-completion-in-the-kingdom = until fulfilled in the kingdom.

S426 la-na-Jesus ka-ne lo-ko-mu / la-ze ka-vo-si He took the cup and gave thanks.

Notes

ka-ne = deliberately connect/take into hand (deliberate bond-formation with object). ko-mu (W052, vessel). ka-vo-si (W168, thanksgiving/blessing). First attestation of W168.

S427 [na-Jesus:] "ka-ne lo-ze / ka-zi ro-yu" "Take this and share it among yourselves."

Notes

ka-zi = deliberately cause mutual exchange = to share/distribute (W: zi mutual-coupling + ka deliberate). ro-yu = with/among you-all. The cup circulates as a mutual sharing event.

S428 [na-Jesus:] "la-mi no ka-zo-ra-ma lo-du-zo-su ti ki pa-be'ka-li-su" "I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."

Notes

du-zo-su (W142) = the vine's fruit = grapes (the origin-produce, not the processed wine). Jesus names by origin material. ti ki pa-be'ka-li-su = at-the-time-the-kingdom-moves = until the kingdom arrives. ki as inchoative arrival.

S429 la-na-Jesus ka-ne lo-ka-du-zo-su / la-ze ka-vo-si He took a loaf of bread and gave thanks.

Notes

First attestation of W161 (ka-du-zo-su, bread). Structural parallel to S426 (cup): same take→give-thanks pattern. The bread compound ka-du-zo-su = deliberately crafted plant-product distinguishes processed grain (bread) from natural plant-result (du-zo-su, W142, fruit).

S430 la-na-Jesus ka-de lo-ze / la-ze ka-ne lo-ze lo-pu-si-ki-li-ze He broke it and gave it to the apostles.

Notes

ka-de = deliberately decay/dissolve = break the bread. ka-ne lo-ze lo-pu-si-ki-li-ze = gave it to his plural messengers. The fracturing distributes the one loaf into many portions: structural decrease (de) enabling plural reception.

S431 [na-Jesus:] "zo-ma-mi ne ze go-lu-yu" "This is my body, given for you."

Notes

First attestation of W163 (zo-ma, body). zo-ma-mi = my body. ne = property copula: the bread bears the predicate "my body." go-lu-yu = cause-of-beneficiary-you-all = given/being-for your benefit. The causal-beneficiary structure (go-lu-yu) encodes the sacrificial direction: the speaker's body is the cause-ground of the group's benefit. GAP-LSP-001 applies: ne attributes a property, not constitutional identity.

S432 [na-Jesus:] "ka lo-ze to-ko-re-mi" "Do this in remembrance of me."

Notes

The founding command of the Eucharist. First attestation of W166 (to-ko-re, remembrance). ka = deliberate action (imperative). lo-ze = patient-this = the breaking-and-giving just performed. to-ko-re-mi = my-remembrance = purpose modifier: the act is to be performed AS knowledge-return-to-me. Tonesu encodes the Eucharist structurally: a deliberate act performed for the purpose of epistemic return to the speaker.

S433 la-na-Jesus ti-de ka-zo-ra-ma ka-ne lo-ko-mu After supper he took the cup.

Notes

ti-de ka-zo-ra-ma = after the eating (W041 past-time frame + eating compound = post-supper temporal). Parallel to S426 but now post-meal. The structural parallelism bread→cup is visible in the corpus sequence.

S434 [na-Jesus:] "ko-mu-ze ne ti-be-ne-to-fe ro-zo-ki'ma-mi" "This cup is the new covenant in my blood."

Notes

First attestations of W164 (zo-ki'ma, blood) and W165 (ne-to-fe, covenant). ko-mu-ze = this cup (deictic-ze). ti-be-ne-to-fe = new/fresh covenant: right-branch, ti-be (W040) modifies [ne-to-fe] = the covenant that is freshly entering force. ro-zo-ki'ma-mi = through/by-means-of my blood (instrumental ro- + W164 + -mi). Three theological claims: cup IS covenant · covenant IS new · covenant IS mediated through blood.

S435 de-zo-ki'ma-mi go-lu-yu "which is poured out for you."

Notes

Continuation of S434. de-zo-ki'ma-mi = the decreasing of my living-liquid = my blood being shed: de- (decay prefix on W164 + -mi). go-lu-yu = for your benefit (causal-beneficiary). The pouring-out = de- applied to blood = the act of its release. Two elements: the act + its direction.

S436 [na-Jesus:] "ka-ne lo-ze / ka-zo-ra-ma lo-ze / zo-ma-mi ne ze" "Take and eat; this is my body." (Matthew parallel)

Notes

Matthew 26:26 parallel. Three-beat imperative sequence: take → eat → identity-claim. The addition of explicit ka-zo-ra-ma (eat) makes the bread-institution formula complete. Verb ka-zo-ra-ma is used identically for both eating and drinking; what is eaten/drunk is encoded in the patient (lo-ka-du-zo-su = bread; lo-de-ki'ma = wine).

S437 [na-Jesus:] "ka-zo-ra-ma lo-de-ki'ma pu-yu / zo-ki'ma-mi ne ze go-ne-to-fe" "Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant."

Notes

First attestation of W162 (de-ki'ma, wine). pu-yu = plural-you-all (explicit group address with plural prefix). go-ne-to-fe = cause-relation-covenant = "of the covenant" as causal-genitive: the blood is the founding cause of the covenant relation. go = cause, ne = relation, to-fe = epistemic boundary → the founding cause of a formally bounded relationship = the covenant's blood-origin.

S438 [na-Jesus:] "la-ze ka-ne-de lo-mi ti-be / ne ro-mi pa-mi" "The one who will betray me is with me here."

Notes

No new compound needed: betrayal = ka-ne-de lo-mi (W092, deliberate bond dissolution, patient = me). la-ze = anaphoric agent (the unnamed one). ti-be (W040) = proximate future = imminent. ne ro-mi pa-mi = is with me here (W110). The betrayer is at the founding event. ze remains unresolved — deliberate: no accusation is made, only a structural fact is stated. Dramatic irony is lexically present in the grammar.

New compounds registered: W161–W168 (8 entries)

Structural gaps documented: - GAP-LSP-001: Identity copula in institution formula (ne ≠ constitutional identity; see THO-001) - GAP-LSP-002: "New" = ti-be captures temporal freshness but not qualitative surpassing - GAP-LSP-003: "Many" = pu-zo-li does not distinguish "many (some)" from "the many (all)" - GAP-LSP-004: Leavened vs unleavened bread not yet encoded in W161

W087/W156 collision flag: pa-ki is registered twice (W087 adrift, W156 liberation). Both are compositionally identical (pa + ki = place-motion). Resolution: unify under W087 as generic place-motion; use ka-pa-ki (W160) for deliberate liberation. W156 should be deprecated in next registry cleanup pass.
