Purpose: test whether Tonesu can express classical theistic divine attributes compositionally using the be-go-li (creator-agent) compound and the [X]-no-fe "without-limit" suffix pattern. Compound set under test: to-no-fe (omniscience), ra-no-fe (omnipotence), vo-no-fe (omnibenevolence), pa-no-fe (omnipresence), go-no-fe (necessary being / first cause). Secondary: be-go-li in agent position, be-go-li-si for Genesis 1:26 ("in our image"), the eternal vs atemporal distinction, and the property-vs-essence copula.

Notes

  • la-be-go-li — agent: generative-origin-agent = creator. Terminal root li (social agent/person) licenses the compound in the la- agent slot. No head-marking modification required.
  • Grammar is structurally identical to Genesis 1:3 (la-Elohim). The substitution works without residue: the sentence is a drop-in replacement. This confirms be-go-li is a grammatically well-formed noun, not a grammatically special theological term.
  • be-go-li compositional reading: be (generation) modifies go (origin/cause) to specify the kind of origin — generative, productive origin. li (agent/person) is the head: an agent defined by generative-causal primacy. Reading: the being whose defining role is to be the generative first cause.

Notes

  • to-no-fe = to (conceptual pattern/knowledge) + [no-fe] (without boundary) = knowing without limit = omniscient. As a predicate compound: the agent is knowledge-without-limit (property attribution).
  • Construction B unpacks the same claim transactionally: lo-pe-pu = all-parts (every component of everything), to as predicate = knows. Clean SOV transitive. Construction A is more compact and formal; B is more narrative-compatible.
  • to-no-fe parsing: right-branching compound. to is the property root; [no-fe] is the modifier (without boundary). No ambiguity: fe does not modify no here — no prefixes fe to yield the confirmed compound no-fe, which then modifies to.
  • First corpus use of to-no-fe. No prior attestation. Parsing is regular; no new rule needed.

Notes

  • ra-no-fe = ra (energy/force/capacity to cause change) + [no-fe] = force without limit. Omnipotence in Tonesu = having no force-boundary. The predicate is a property compound parallel to to-no-fe.
  • ra scope note: ra is energy as force or capacity — not thermal state (that is ha). The boundary that no-fe removes is the limiting condition on that force: an omnipotent being is one whose force has no bounding constraint.
  • Parallel construction confirmed: S350, S351, and S352 (below) all share the structure la-be-go-li [root]-no-fe. The pattern is productive and compositional.

S352 la-be-go-li pa-no-fe The creator is everywhere. / The creator is omnipresent.

Notes

  • pa-no-fe = pa (place/space) + [no-fe] = space without limit = present everywhere = omnipresent. The spatial presence of the agent has no boundary.
  • pa-no-fe vs pa-ki vs pa-be: pa-ki = place-in-motion (movement through places). pa-be = space-growing (expanding space). pa-no-fe is a static property — the agent's presence is not bounded by any spatial limit. Distinct from movement through space or expansion of space.
  • Omnipresence is not movement: an agent that is everywhere is not doing ki (motion). pa-no-fe correctly expresses the static unboundedness. If Tonesu needs to express growing/expanding presence (a different claim), pa-be handles it.

S353 ❌ la-be-go-li go-no-go (collision: go-no-go = concessive particle G009) The creator is the uncaused cause.

Notes

  • go-no-fe = go (cause/origin) + [no-fe] (without boundary) = the cause that has no limiting prior cause above it = necessary being. A being is a necessary being if its causation is unbounded — no prior condition limits or preconditions it. This is the correct philosophical concept: not "something caused by nothing" (which is what go-no-go would mean literally) but "a cause whose causal priority has no limit."
  • no-go vs go-no-fe direction distinction: no-go = negation-of-cause (Y is independent of X as cause = concessive). go-no-fe = cause-without-boundary (a cause that is unlimited, not negated). The direction is reversed: no-go denies causation at clause-level; go-no-fe asserts unlimited causation as a property of an agent.
  • go-no-fe joins the [X]-no-fe family: this is the fifth member: to-no-fe, ra-no-fe, vo-no-fe, pa-no-fe, go-no-fe. Each picks a different property root; no-fe applies uniformly. Necessary being = causal unlimited-ness is the same kind of claim as omniscience = epistemic unlimited-ness.

S354 la-be-go-li lo-zo-li ka-be-past lo-be-go-li-si The creator made persons in the creator's image.

Notes

  • be-go-li-si = be-go-li (creator) + si (signal/representation/encoding) = the representation/image of the creator. Hebrew tselem (shadow-image-likeness) maps cleanly: the created being is a signal/encoding that represents the creator's form.
  • Two lo- arguments: lo-zo-li (primary patient: humankind) and lo-be-go-li-si (secondary patient: creator-representation). Two-patient construction is precedented: Genesis 1:4 uses lo-lu lo-no-lu ka-fe (separating light from dark — two patients). Here the second patient is a result-patient: persons were generated into / as a creator-representation.
  • Manner vs result-patient gap: "in our image" is technically a template/manner frame, not a patient. The result-patient reading (lo-X ka-be lo-Y = X generated as/into Y) is the closest available construction. Minor structural gap: Tonesu has no dedicated template-manner particle. The result-patient reading under- vs overspecifies depending on whether the image is the product or the method of creation. Worth noting but not blocking.
  • lo-be-go-li-si parsing: lo- (patient marker) prefixes the compound be-go-li-si as a whole. Parallel to lo-zo-be (organism-product) in the biology batches. The lo- attaches to the compound head; the compound is right-branching: [be-go-li]-si = the representation-of-the-creator.

Notes

  • ti-no-fe = ti (time/sequence) + [no-fe] = time without boundary = eternal. The agent exists in time and continues without temporal end. Process theology, open theism, and most popular theological framings assert this.
  • no-ti = no (negation/absence) + ti (time) = not-temporal. The agent is outside of time entirely — does not have a temporal sequence at all. Classical theism (Augustine, Aquinas, Boethius) asserts this: God sees all times simultaneously from an atemporal vantage.
  • These are non-identical claims. An eternal being (ti-no-fe) is in time but without end. An atemporal being (no-ti) is not in time at all. Most natural languages blur this distinction; Tonesu distinguishes them via compositional logic — one removes the limit on time, the other removes time itself.
  • ti-no-fe is a new derived term from the [X]-no-fe pattern. It is not God-specific: anything claimed to exist without temporal end takes ti-no-fe. The term is now available for general use.
  • nu-no-fe follow-on: by the same pattern, nu (quantity/number) + [no-fe] = nu-no-fe = number without limit = mathematical infinity. This drops naturally from the same suffix pattern. Not God-specific. Useful in mathematical and cosmological discourse.

Difficulty: LOW–MEDIUM (grammatically trivial; conceptually precise).

S356 la-be-go-li vo God is love.

Notes

  • Construction A uses vo (value/quality/goodness) as predicate. This covers "God is good" but misses the active-caring sense of love. la-X vo = X is good / has value — a simple property attribution. Clean. The Genesis 1 evaluation formula (lo-lu vo = light is good) uses the same pattern.
  • fa-vo-no-fe = fa (affective substrate) + vo (value/quality — affective orientation toward value) + [no-fe] = affect-value-without-limit = love without boundary. New member of the [X]-no-fe family: fa-vo is the affective-value compound; no-fe removes the limit. The compound reads: the being whose caring-orientation has no limiting boundary.
  • Property vs essence gap (new): "God is love" (1 John 4:8) is an identity claim — love is God's essence, not merely a property. Construction B places fa-vo-no-fe in predicate position, which Tonesu reads as property attribution (la-X Q = X has property Q). The essence reading — where love is not what God has but what God is — requires either an appositive structure or the ne (relation/identity) particle: lo-be-go-li fa-vo-no-fe ne = the creator-agent is-identical-to love-without-limit. This is awkward. Tonesu has no dedicated identity copula distinct from property attribution. Property-slot and essence-slot use the same grammar.
  • Gap logged: the property-vs-essence distinction is a real structural gap. Tonesu has la-X Q (X has property Q) and lo-X ne lo-Y (relation between X and Y), but no clean X ≡ Y (X is identical to / constituted by Y). This matters for identity claims of the form "God is [noun]" vs "God is [adjective]."
