Composition

to (knowledge/pattern) + su (structure)

Definition

organized knowledge; system, model, framework, theory

Notes

to-su = committed/established framework (working theory promoted to structured knowledge). The approximation operator gives a useful distinction: ~to-su = tentative/working theory (a knowledge structure that is acknowledged as provisional). Contrast: to-su asserts organized structure; ~to-su marks the organization itself as approximate. This distinction is available without any new vocabulary.
